APWA Merit Award
The District’s Water Treatment Improvement Project, Stage 2 at Santa Teresa Water Treatment Plant (WTIP2 at STWTP) received the Merit Award for the 2006 American Public Works Association (APWA) Project of the Year for the South Bay Area Chapter.

The District and its partners were recognized for their efforts on the project.
