California Society of Municipal Finance Officers Excellence In Budgeting Award
Excellence in Budgeting Award The District received notification from the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) that the District’s Summary Budget was selected to receive the Excellence in Budgeting Award for 2006-07.

The Excellence in Budgeting Award was also awarded for the Operating budget in 2005-06. The award recognizes agencies that have prepared a budget document that meets certain governmental accounting standards in excellence.

To receive this award, the budget document submitted must receive a minimum number of points by independent CSMFO reviewers.
