An employee resource group (ERG) is a network of employees sharing a common identity, interest or characteristic. The district has the following ERGs:
- Asian Pacific Resources Group (APRG)
- Association of Black Employees (ABE)
- Disability Awareness Group
- Indo-American Association (IAA)
- LGBT/Straight Alliance
- Organization for Latino Affairs (OLA)
- Parents’ Advisory Network (PAN)
- Veterans Awareness Group
The ERGs are open to all employees and help:
- Promote diversity and inclusion
- Provide support networks
- Contribute to employees' professional development
- Organize events to educate employees about diversity
- Serve as a resource to the business in areas of language and cultural competencies
- Participate in community events promoting diversity
