Water is in the news, and so is the district: In the recently-produced NBC 11 program, “Water Matters,” the Santa Clara Valley Water District is featured prominently as the interviewer covers the history of water resource management in the county, the importance of groundwater, how we import and treat water, recycled water partnerships, conservation’s critical role and more.
Board Directors Richard Santos and Rosemary Kamei, along with water utility operations staff, were interviewed for the first two segments of the program. The entire program is now on the NBC 11 website and can be viewed here:
The district co-sponsored the program as part of our outreach to educate the public about water conservation and the county’s water supply system. For more information, please contact Communications Manager Mary Ann Ruiz at ext. 2633.
