Where do I find water-wise plants?
There are many nurseries in the Bay Area that carry a variety of water-efficient plants appropriate for our climate. These nurseries also have trained staff to help with your questions. Below is a list to get you started.
Being mindful of water conservation takes place both inside and outside of the home. Landscape is one of the most water-consumptive impacts to our water supply. However, nurseries and public demonstration gardens around the Bay Area offer residents examples of how to be water-wise by conserving water, improving local water quality and wildlife habitat - all while maintaining a beautiful garden.
