Watershed Stewardship Grants
The Watershed Stewardship Grant Program (Watershed Stewardship Grant) helps fulfill the stewardship component of the District’s mission, the District’s ends policy E-4, and is consistent with the definition stating stewardship means to entrust the careful and responsible management of the environment and natural resources to one's care for the benefit of the greater community. The fourth cycle of the Watershed Stewardship Grant was carried out in 2011 following grants in 2001, 2003 and 2004. This grant also implements several sections of the District’s Clean, Safe Creeks and Natural Flood Protection Program, including Outcomes 2.1, 2.5, 3, 3.2 and 4.1. This Request for Proposals (RFP) focuses on implementation grants as a means of accomplishing program goals and objectives.
