Project description:

This project provides liaison with other governmental agencies in the Pajaro River Watershed to consider a future U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Watershed Management Plan and feasibility studies for initial projects to remedy the regional flooding problems within the Pajaro River Watershed. The Santa Clara Valley Water District will support and coordinate with other participating governmental agencies of the Pajaro River Watershed Flood Prevention Authority. Project includes staff level participation in a staff working group which provides recommendations to the Authority Board.

Project Goals:

Support the goal of the Pajaro River Watershed Flood Prevention Authority to develop regional solutions to flooding concerns associated with the Pajaro Watershed.
