Description

Station located 0.6 miles below Stevens Creek Reservoir on the west (downstream) side of the highway bridge. Low flow control is a concrete self cleaning V-notch weir which is subject to slight summertime aquatic growth. No permanent high flow control. PZF at station is equal to 1.80 ft.

Period of Record

SCVWD period of record begins October 1, 1961 and continues to the present. Previously USGS station number 11166500 - Stevens Creek near Cupertino , which operated from water year 1931 until 1959.

Date Note 06/12/1969 Fischer & Porter ADR installed in stilling well. 05/04/1987 Installed Handar 590v radio transmitter. 07/25/1995 ADR replaced with Acro data logger.
