Director Linda LeZotte - Biography

Linda J. LeZotte was first elected to the Board in 2010 and re-elected in 2014 and 2018.  Linda was elected as Vice Chair of the Board in 2011 and 2018, and Chair of the Board in 2012 and 2019. Linda represents the City of Campbell, portions of the Willow Glen and Cambrian communities, and North Almaden and Blossom Hill area of San Jose.

For eight years, Linda served as a distinguished member of the San Jose City Council leading the green building/sustainability policy discussion, and six years as a San Jose Planning Commissioner. Linda served on the Envision San Jose 2040 Task Force from 2007-2011 and its 4-year review in 2015/16 and 2019/20.

Linda practiced law locally for over 30 years, specializing in the areas of land use, environmental and municipal law.  She is one of a select group of Silicon Valley and California attorneys who are accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) in new construction.

Linda chaired the Joint Ventures Silicon Valley Sustainable Building Initiative and served on the Bay Area Climate Collaborative – Green Building Group, and the Cities Association Green Building Collaborative.
