Valley Water is now offering free virtual tours of our water infrastructure and facilities through our new Water Infrastructure Virtual Bus Tour series.
Participants will learn about how our water infrastructure works together to provide safe, clean drinking water for residents, help keep communities safe, and preserve our natural resources in Santa Clara County through a 4-stop series.
Stop #3 delves into Valley Water’s role as the flood protection agency for our county. Learn about the Safe, Clean Water and Natural Flood Protection Program is critical to the agency’s mission. We will briefly visit the completed Downtown Guadalupe River Flood Protection Project and get a look at the current Coyote Creek Flood Protection Project underway. This stop also highlights a few environmental restoration projects made possible through grants and partnerships with community groups.
Each tour stop will take approximately one hour and include a Q&A segment with subject matter experts and project managers. Login details for Zoom will be provided after registering.
