Valley Water Board Chair John L. Varela statement on increased imported water allocations

“I would like to thank the California Department of Water Resources and the Bureau of Reclamation for providing us 100% of our imported water allocations this year, the first time this has happened since 2006. While our county’s water supply conditions are excellent, we know climate change will result in hotter and drier weather. That’s why must continue to make water conservation a way of life.”
