Living Wage Policy

Content

It is Valley Water’s policy that persons doing work on, for or on behalf of Valley Water must be paid a living wage, be provided with or able to afford health insurance, have reasonable time off, not be subject to lay off merely because Valley Water changes contractors, and work in an environment of labor peace. It is important that bidders thoroughly understand and recognize this policy when preparing their bids and throughout the contract term, including extensions, if awarded a contract.
