Valley Water is collaborating with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. This is a unique opportunity to engage with a mission-driven educational institution committed to empowering high school students through a distinctive work-study program. Through this partnership, the Valley Water Next Gen Career Pathways Program can contribute to the academic and professional development of students, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship that combines education, real-world work experience, and community impact.

Goals:

  • Provide local high school students with an internship program that introduces them to the world of water management.
  • Encourage talent to explore career opportunities in the water industry.

Intern Activities: 

Wonders of Water Interns are given the opportunity to participate in educational activities that aim to drive career exploration, achieve academic goals, and learn about how the water industry impacts their local communities.

These activities include, but aren't limited to:

  • LinkedIn Workshop
  • Water Quality Lab Tour
  • College Application Workshop
  • Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center Tour
