Reuse Graywater and Rainwater in Your Yard

Valley Water’s Water Supply Planning & Conservation Unit is excited to host their third presentation in the Water Conservation Facebook Live Series: Reuse Graywater and Rainwater in Your Yard. Valley Water will be joined by UC Master Gardeners for this latest presentation. Join Water Conservation Specialist, Justin Burks, and Hank Morales of UC Master Gardeners as they dive deep into reusing and capturing water for your landscape.

Discover how to irrigate your landscape efficiently by reusing water! Learn how to safely reuse water from washing machines to irrigate your plants and fruit trees, as well as how to capture rainwater to use in your landscape. This free class will discuss common types of residential graywater reuse, an overview of how to construct a laundry-to-landscape graywater system, and ways to capture and use rainwater in your landscape.

Additionally, see how you can bring graywater and rainwater elements into your landscape with the help of Valley Water rebates! Qualifying residents can receive $200-$400 on a laundry-to-landscape graywater system, and up to $2,000 - $3,000 towards rainwater capture devices.

This class is for all ages, residents, renters, and home dwellers. To signup, please visit the event registration page
