Graywater Laundry to Landscape Rebate Program


The Santa Clara Valley Water District provides a Graywater Laundry to Landscape Rebate for properly connecting a clothes washer to a simple graywater irrigation system. Apply before proceeding on any project as rebates are not provided retroactively: Funding is limited and provided on a first come, first served basis.

Rebate Amounts:

  • $200 for qualifying residential sites
  • $400 for qualifying residential sites within the following service areas:

    • City of Cupertino (Sites in unincorporated areas in Cupertino are not eligible for the additional cost-sharing amount.)

    • San Jose Municipal Water System (To confirm whether you're in this service area, click here and enter your address to confirm, or check your water bill.)

    • For information about current increased rebate amounts in cost-sharing areas, please contact the Water Conservation Hotline at (408) 630-2554 or [email protected]. Funds are first come, first served, while funding is available.
