Valley Water follows an established, Board-approved Change Control Process when the Board is considering whether to modify or not implement a project in the Safe, Clean Water Program.
Change Control Process
History of the Safe, Clean Water Program's Change Control Process:
- Original Change Control Process (2016): On April 26, 2016, the Board approved the Safe, Clean Water Program's Change Control Process. Change Control Process Presentation (2016)
- Update to Change Control Process (2019): On June 25, 2019, the Board approved an update to the Safe, Clean Water Program's Change Control Process for schedule adjustments.
- Updated Change Control Process (2023): On November 14, 2023, the Board approved the updated Change Control Process for the renewed Safe, Clean Water and Natural Flood Protection Program that voters approved in November 2020. Change Control Process Presentation (2023)
- Updated Change Control Process (2025): On October 28, 2025, the Board approved the updated Change Control Process for the renewed Safe, Clean Water and Natural Flood Protection Program to include enhanced noticing/outreach for public hearings and documentation of project schedule/funding adjustments.
- Updated Change Control Process (2026): On February 24, 2026, the Board approved the updated Change Control Process for the renewed Safe, Clean Water and Natural Flood Protection Program to update the definition of "Adjustments" to better align with the language of Measure S.
