Demonstration Gardens

This interactive map depicts water-wise demonstration garden locations in and around Santa Clara County. A demonstration garden is where anyone can visit to be inspired by sustainable landscaping, water-wise gardens, and native plant species thriving. With passion and planning, you can replicate many features you'll see in these gardens in your own yard.

The demonstration gardens in the map are not maintained or managed by the Santa Clara Valley Water District and may feature plants, garden elements, and irrigation equipment that would not qualify for the Landscape Rebate Program.

To use the interactive map, you can:

  • Click on any of the color-coded demonstration gardens to find the garden name, address, website, or other contact information.
  • Zoom in or out to your area of interest. The attribute table at the bottom of the page will automatically refresh to show information for the demonstration gardens visible in the map.
  • Locate all gardens within a specific distance from address by clicking the "Near Me" gray circle at the bottom of the map above the attribute table. This will open a dialog box to enter your address and a search distance. The map and attribute table will refresh to show the gardens closest to you.

Hours may vary. Not all gardens will have a website, phone number, or email provided. Details are subject to change.
